Respect. No racism, sexism, religious or political debating, nor any sort of negative judgement and attitude toward your fellow members is to be tolerated. If you've got a problem with someone, keep it to yourself.
We have a zero tolerance when it comes to stealing. If you're using graphics that aren't yours, credit. Other than that, just don't use things that aren't yours without permission. I'm sensitive about this, it's happened to me, you will be banned.
Bloodless Disease is rated PG13 in accordance to the ProBoards Terms of Service, and I'd like you all to keep it that way. Language is fine (just don't get ridiculous about it), violence is fine in moderation. Drug use, alcohol abuse, and other activity should be kept to a minimum--these addictions are allowed so long as you don't go into detail, but keep in mind that they VERY HARD to keep under staff surveillance. Sex is forbidden; the infamous fade to black technique should be applied if a thread starts getting steamy.
Our word count minimum is 200 words. It may seem steep, but really, it's nothing. If you get stuck on a post, use thoughts, actions, and descriptions of surroundings to help out.
Be realistic. This is a real-life RP, and should be treated as such. Characters with wings, natural green hair, superpowers and the like simply aren't allowed. Also, keep the law in mind, and don't be ridiculous with your characters.
As stated above, this is 'real life'. Pregnancies, deaths, marriages... all that stuff happens. But these major events should be approved by an admin first, just to be safe.
Don't spam, in the chat-box or on the forum. Post your ad in the correct board.
Variety. If you have four characters, there should be a diversity between them. They shouldn't all be the same age, the same gender, with the same disorders and beliefs. Take a look at the statistics and see what we're in need of when creating a new character, we'd sure appreciate it.
