About Sera
[/blockquote][/color]Seraphine was born and raised in a small town in New York shortly after her young parents fled to the states to escape Alexis's father. Because of her father's wealth, the family managed to do almost anything they wanted and they mostly wanted a simple life without the hassles of anything to uphold. But when Sera was born, she had this desire to have things, especially since she didn't have any siblings. Her desire for materials soon developed into a hatred for her mother who would always say that she didn't need anything. So they would butt heads often and get into large fights up until she simply died one night. After that, Sera began to look for love in other women, at first as a way to have a different mother in her life until she began to realize that she was truly attracted to these women. However this doesn't mean she has a problem with men, which she proved later in her life, but she feels more complete with a woman rather than a man. Because of this, she tends to view any man who hits on her as an instant pig and will loathe them for their nature. Do note that Sera will never raise her voice, having promised herself never to do so again after the death of her mother. Instead, she will kindly tell people to leave her alone, if they refuse, she simply resorts to action, knowing enough in self defense to bring down nearly any man.Sera & Friends
When it comes to work, she can be very controlling, especially in areas that she deems as hers, such as her home, office, or when she is running a group session. At these points in time, she expects everyone to respect her way and listen to her instructions or else. Disobeying her orders has often lead to being removed from her group sessions or simply being forced to leave for the rest of it and talking to her privately at another time. So instead of trying to go against her because she has some authority, if you simply obey you will find her to be very tolerable and willing to listen to any problems you may have, be it during the group or in private.
Making friends tends to be rather easy for Sera as she tries to give everyone a fair chance to make a good impression and often gives people the benefit of the doubt for the first few meetings. So do not be surprised if she gains friends in both her fellow employees but also makes friends with her patients. Do note that her friendships with her patients never goes beyond a professional stand point but she will never view them as lesser people. To her, everyone is equal and has their own strengths and weaknesses, and those within the asylum were simply caught at their worst moment and she wishes to help them avoid that point of weakness (or help them try to hide it better.)Hating Sera
For some, hating Sera may be as easy as knowing that she is openly gay or something more complicated like the way she treats her patients. No matter the reason, Sera will never try and hate someone back unless the hate is deserved. If anything, she may just ignore that person unless in a professional atmosphere.Sera's Love Life
Her love life is already filled with her final, Aislinn Kavanah. Having met her back in sophomore year of high school, Sera had fallen head over heels in love and ever since then, they have been together through everything. Aislinn is one of the only person that knows all of Sera's deep dark secrets and regrets.
