Hey everyone, meet Tanner. He's seventeen and extremely suicidal. He's straight and single, but doesn't see this changing - most girls don't really appreciate when their boyfriend would rather hurt himself then spend time with her. A master of truancy, Tanner rarely went to school when he was enrolled and was finally pulled out to go here at the beginning of his junior year. She likes being by himself mostly, attempting to push people far away rather than let them in. If you try hard enough it might be possible, but for the most part this kid is a loner.

LETS MAKE FRIENDS ---*

It'll definitely be hard, but Tanner needs some friends to hang with. He's not much of a physical type, so girls and guys would both be good buddy options for him. He's not interested in sex, since he hates being naked by himself much less in front of someone else, so any girls that fall for him are SOL.

LETS MAKE ENEMIES ---*

Odds are he's going to say something that'll really piss some people off. Tanner is a pro at lashing out at people who try to make his life miserable, and everyone knows it. If he's going to have enemies, it'll likely be somebody he let loose and hit for some reason or another, or somebody that hit him.

LETS MAKE LOVE ---*

Relationships, love, any kind of real connection with somebody isn't very likely with Tanner. He doesn't like intimacy since he feels he isn't good enough for it, and the last thing he wants is for anyone to see him naked and see all the places he's hurt himself. He's too depressed for a real relationship and would just make girls angry over his lack of attention.

Hello again (: I plot with everyone, haha.

I don't think Joshua would understand Tanner all that well, and he loses a lot of respect for a person that tries to harm/kill themselves. As far as he sees it, there's always something worse that can go wrong, so he's easily irritated by bitching and complaining. Even if Tanner never complained of his life aloud, the scars would say it all to Josh.

I don't know if he'd start anything personal... he tends to stay out of the way of people he dislikes or doesn't respect. He's a fighter, but only if provoked - otherwise he's quite passive and peaceful. But if Tanner were to irritate/offend him in any way (I can't see how, but y'know, shit happens xD) he'd definitely have something to say about it.

Conrad doesn't really care if someone wants to kill themselves. The way he sees it, it's not his problem, so it doesn't matter. Since he's also very apathetic and uncaring about all those except himself, he doesn't pry into a guy's personal life, and they might be able to get along. He'd talk to him normally, rather than inquiring about the scars, or asking him how he was feeling, or things like that.

Oh dear. I wasn't kidding when I said she hated everyone (well, almost - other sadistic, twisted people can sometimes get along with her) but the suicidals are the worst xD

She would be such a bitch to him o.o Like, if she ever caught him cutting, she'd say things like, "Why don't I just hand you my gun, chicken shit, and you can splatter your brains across the wall? That's how a real man offs himself." Yeah... uh, she's not nice. I have no excuses for her xD

I'm not sure how we could set something up for them to get at each other's throat, but Tanner is the same way - he isn't really a fighter unless provoked, in which case he's amazingly violent. Problem is, he'd realize Josh would way outmatch him and he'd probably run his mouth a bit, but he wouldn't do anything physical unless Josh started it. Actually starting it, however, would be the hard part x3 We may be able to ponder up something though.

Somebody who honestly couldn't care less about the scars or the sharing of problems would probably be a great buddy for Tanner. He hates when people open up to him about their problems when he doesn't ask (usually he couldn't care less x3), and he'd rather kick a kitten than talk about his scars with random people. I can see them being friendly and maybe getting close over time?

He absolutely despises the staff to begin with, since not only are they an authoritative figure and they all suck, but because of them he has to sneak around and doesn't get to hurt himself as often as he likesneeds. He'd definitely talk back to her and get himself in a world of trouble, something along the lines of "A gun sounds good, hand it over. You can say my 'chicken shit' ass just got the better if you - you're just a girl, after all - and that way you can avoid trouble." ..or something dumb like that x3 He'd make it seem like he was calling a bluff, but he'd actually want her to do it since it would be a way out of all his problems.

Dahlia would encourage Tanner's suicidal tendencies. She herself tried to drown herself because she believes she is a siren. So she'd probably say things like, "you should drown yourself, you may be a siren, too. or maybe a crab. who knows what waits for you after death? ladedadedai'mbathshit~"

Dahlia definitely will not be a good influence on him. If Tanner listens to her or not is up to you. After all, she is a level five insanity and people tend not to want to listen to those kinds of patients. xD

Now Nell is the complete opposite of Dahlia. She'll try to help Tanner the best she can. They have similar dislikes (authority, being watched and observed, other people seeing scars). Though Tanner also dislikes people asking about his problem, and Nell is very curious. However, she knows when not to push such questions and will instead talk to him about easier subjects. And she never likes to talk about her own problems.

AND YEAH I TROLL BIOS HURR HURR Anyway, Nell is a very good friend if Tanner is willing to let her in. She is a shoulder to cry on, someone to lean on, because she'll always be there. A very healthy relationship instead of the dangerous one he could possibly have with Dahlia. xD

A friend who's a negative influence over him sounds like a fun idea :3 I can see a few different ways to with that, all of them interesting. He needs some friendly turmoil in his life; I think Dahlia would do a great job of that xD

This sounds like a great idea to me. If he's got Dahlia's influence in his life he'll definitely need someone to keep him a little on the sane side so he doesn't provoke a guard into shooting him or something xD It would take time but eventually he'd be willing to let her in, if she was persistent enough. It would be rocky when she asks about his scars and stuff though, so there would be times where the friendship would get really rocky and a total pain in the butt for them both....>.>

TROLOLOLO~ Nell can be pretty persistent if she knows it's good for Tanner. And even if the relationship turns out rocky she'd still be optimistic. She knows when to leave a person alone, though.

That's a good idea. Dahlia has some strange views on everything, and it's partly because of her mother's influence that she chooses not to believe in death. In essence, she believes we all just return to the sea. But it's hard to trace her thoughts.

But she'd love to talk about that with Tanner and she'd attempt to get him to see it the way she does.

Seeing as they're both passive, perhaps it'll just be one of those mutual dislikes that's never really acted upon? You generally have to physically assault him or else insult his family/pride/ect to get a reaction out of him, he's pretty mature for his age.

Sure, that'd work out great! Conrad doesn't mind talking about himself a little, but he generally doesn't bring it up unless the other person asks him, and he would never go into extreme detail. Like, if you asked him how he got into drugs, he generally wouldn't tell you the entire story, he'd just said, "Some party when I was younger. They drugged the pop cans." instead of going in-depth about it xD

I could definitely see them getting closer over time, especially since Tanner seems like the type of guy Conrad's most suitable to getting along with. He likes people that don't pry too much, don't chat his ear off every second of the day, don't always need to be doing something, ect. xD

She hates sexism - she's very egotistic, she thinks she's better than everyone, being talked down to because she's a girl pisses her off SO much xD So yeah. Hmm. I like that idea, just keeping it a sort of 'you-stay-on-your-side-I'll-stay-on-mine' sort of dislike. Maybe they can start to maybe kind of almost be friends and find some common ground then realize the other is actually going to drive them up a wall and that's when the dislike starts?

Yay<3 He'd probably bash his head through a wall if Conrad went into detail anyway, so that's good x3 He'd be the same way too, but once he got comfortable he'd probably just randomly spill a bit more of the story to Conrad when he was thinking about it. He wouldn't give him a TMI moment or talk his ear off or anything, just add a few details; it's like a sign of trust for him.

Hmm. This could be interesting. Dominique is a lot less... demanding... than the rest of the staff. As in, he actually views his patients as individuals. And he gets irritated if the guards push them around. Rin, he's looking at you, trololol. He's also very patient. And I mean if it takes him 50 sessions to get a patient to talk to him, he'll wait. He's not pushy. It could be amusing xD He can also get sidetracked pretty easily, so it'd be funny if Tanner started talking about something completely different to get away from the subject of the scars and then all of a sudden the entire hour is gone to a discussion about something totally off topic xD Dom would get all flustered and everything. Just an idea, though xD
