welp, i have mason here. mason is a pretty mean and impulsive guy depending on who you are. he'll call names and throw punches without even thinking about it first, especially if you piss him off. he's got a horrible view on women because of his mothers. to make a long story short, masons' mother was a prostitute and brought home a bunch of guys that beat the shit out of him. his mother enabled them, pretty much. in fact, she added to it, burning and cutting him with anything she possibly could as well as spanking upon spanking that left him welted and bleeding. one time, she thought one of the guys had actually killed him, and instead of bringing him to the hospital, she just dumped him in a ditch, but some guy found him & brought him to the hospital. this is pretty much his life. besides from that, though, he also tends to be very violent and sexual, especially when he's intoxicated. he sleeps with any one he can, and he picks on the weak because he wants to. and he has a tendency of flashing people, though he's pretty well endowed.

so for friends, he doesn't really like other people, and he doesn't try to give off the impression that he does. maybe a few. like 3 or 4, but that's it. so yeah, that about wraps it up for friends. as for enemies, though, if you're female.. you can pretty much just sit down here. there's no way he thinks you're good for anything but pleasure, and he'll let you know it. he tries hard to get along with the girls that work with him, but there's no guarantees. there's also the overly happy and quiet people here. if he thinks he'll get away with it, he's going to verbally and physically assault you. that's just the way he is. and for lovers, he swore he'd never fall in love with a girl, ever. mostly because of his mother. there's too much pain that he can see, but he'd gladly sleep with you. (he actually has a final though) he likes males and females, and after he sleeps with you, he'll probably beat you up and call you a bunch of names. he's really a horrible, horrible person, and just about everyone knows that. so, one night stands, one sided crushes on your characters side, the works.

Haze is a violent kleptomaniac. Meaning, he'll steal what he can when he can, and he'll beat the crap out of anyone who Tries to stop him. They are very similar in their views of themselves. And Haze hates people who remind him of himself. So if these two were ever to cross paths I could see it ending violently.[/size]

i also don't think that mason & chase being finals would really help the violence, but mason was sent to markham for almost killing someone. he has a disorder where when he gets angry, he's out for blood and he doesn't stop until his body physically shuts down and he passes out (or someone stops him, or the other guy gives up, or the other guy passes out). really, he's disorder and violence, but his disorder is violence related. he's there because he tried to kill a person (but they think it's because he tried to hurt them real bad and him almost dying was just an outcome of that), and while it might be a mostly even fight, i do think mason would come out the winner. and i know that's what most people say about their characters, but there's lots of times i come up with mason losing fights. this, however, i don't believe would be one of them. especially because of the chase matter.

Due to Mason's hatred of women and his egotistical narcissism, I was actually starting to wonder if Josh would be able to get along with him. See, Josh has respect for women (he treats everyone equally, really - he'd punch a girl in the face if she deserved it, because he doesn't believe they should have a right to 'softened' blows when they can take a cheap shot to the crotch and down a guy in one hit xD). However, once I read that he and Haze would be enemies (Josh despises Andrew) I got an idea.

Maybe they start off as 'frenemies' that don't always agree with one another, but are united by a common hatred, so they look past their distaste? Sort of like highschool, when you put up with certain people because you like a certain aspect of their personality/they share your crowd/you're on the same side but there are qualities of theirs that kind of irk you some time?

And it could gradually build from just a common hatred in a person to being sort of friends. Like, once they start hanging out just because, and harassing the staff or something, Josh would decide 'Eh, he's pretty cool as long as he leaves my friends alone' and then sort of warm up to the idea of a friendship a little more? It could be one of those things that takes a while to develop, because they've got certain differences that set them apart.

If that didn't make sense, I apologise xD If it did... what do you think?

i could see that happening, actually. maybe when mason and andrew get into a real real big fight and one of them is bound to win he kind of cuts in stops him from killing him? possibly. lol. i think that's what it would take for mason to really warm up to josh. and maybe that's when josh realizes he's not to different from himself. once mason meets chase his view of women sort of changes a little and he starts to hate them a little less, so that might even help? idk where i'm really going with this.

Ooh, I like that idea! Josh is usually pretty passive when it comes to breaking up fights, but he has those moments where he just reacts on instinct, and he's really tough, too xD Just curious - who would he stop from killing who?

Don't worry, you make perfect sense to me Josh would definitely warm up to him a lot more when he starts to see his views on women change, as well. These two would make epic friends, dude xD

And then the guards would probably intervene and throw all three of them in lockdown xD Because y'know, two level fours and a level five, all with violent tendencies, I imagine the guards would be like "Ohshit." xD

I agree with you for the most part. Andrew could potentially kill someone if they pissed him off enough. If they got into a fight, Andrew would probably get super ticked and fight back just as hard. In the end, ESPECIALLY because of the Chase thing, Andrew wouldn't give up till they were dragged apart, and even then he'd probably fight till he was knocked out in a mad attempt to rip out Mason's throat. Unfortunately, we'd never actually find out who would win because both have strong violent urges and they'd probably get ripped apart before someone got killed. But yeah, the Chase thing will both Haze to no end. AND if it comes out that Mason hurt her in any way (Even if she enjoys it) Andrew will make it his primary purpose to end Mason. He'd literally go hunting for Mason. Potential plots for that could involve almost a civil war. Andrew could rally up a group of people against Mason and Mason could rally up people against Andrew. Riot in the mess hall!

Either way... Just my thoughts there. Sorry I rambled a bit.

Dahlia's mother screwed her up pretty bad. She went crazy, killed her father, and then drowned herself. And Dahlia pretty much inherited all of these qualities. Since Mason does not like women, I have a feeling he'll hate Dahlia. A lot.

So if Dahlia knows about Mason's dislike of women, she will use it to screw with his head. With people like him, she tends to just mess around with them for her own enjoyment. She will probably become violent with him, too, even if they're having a normal conversation. So a fight between the two is quite an interesting possibility.

Nell had a horrible, batshit mother like Dahlia who experimented on her ever since she was a child. So she pretty much screwed Nell up on several levels and made it impossible for her to form healthy sexual relationships among other things. Maybe if they find they have horrible mothers in common, they could get along. But with Mason, I doubt it. xD Nell would still try, though.

I have a feeling Mason would not like Nell, even though she has a very kind and friendly personality. And if he intentionally tries to hurt her, she will not retaliate but will probably not like him from there. xD And avoid him.
